Ajay Maken to resign as Delhi Congress chief

New Delhi April 26: As we knew that BJP is leading in the civic elections from this point of view, Delhi Congress Chief, Ajay Maken has offered to resign as the as the state's party president.

He has stressed that he has accepted the defeat and was now going to handover the resignation.

However, it is not yet clear whether his resignation would be accepted by the party leaders or not. "Take responsibility for defeat and I am going to resign as Delhi Congress President," he told the media here on Wednesday.
