KCR urged Modi for no income tax on farmers

Hyderabad, April 25: The Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Monday.

KCR sought an exemption from income tax for the income earned through agriculture crop works and various vocations as was done in the case of farmers.

The both KCR and Modi had discussed several aspects, during 20 mins in the meeting



He said the move will benefit several backward castes depending on vocations like sheep rearing, fishing, weaving and hair cutting.

KCR also requested the PM Modi to ensure that there should be no negative impact of GST on state's revenues.
