Rs. 8 Cr sanctioned to the place, where Modi sold tea

New Delhi, April 24: A Railway station has won a golden chance, which was very famous because, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi used to sell the tea along with his father in his childhood days.

While coming to details, The Union Minister of state for Railways Manoj Sinha has announced that the center has sanctioned Rs 8 crores for the development of Vadnagar railway station in Mehsana district in Gujarat, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi used to sell tea during his childhood.



He said that, As such the Western Railways is already converting the Mehsana-Tarange Hill meter gauge section into broad gauge, of which Vadnagar station is a part.

Vadnagar town is also the birthplace of Modi, he added.
