Hyderabad, April 24: As we knew that Around six per cent of the cases reported in women police stations in the city is matrimonial disputes involving NRIs. The cases deal with husbands abandoning wives, mistreating or duping them. Many cases are being tried in courts.

The police have issued dozens of Look Out Circulars (LOCs) at airports and notices to men asking them to appear before it. However, only a few people have responded. Cops say there are also cases in which some men lived with their wives for less than a week, went abroad and never returned.

Many men do not return to India for a long time after they leave abandoning their wives. When women approach the police they register cases and issue LOCs at airports to detain the men if they come to India.

In order to check the NRI's harassments, The CCS police have been planned to the Temporary cancellation of their passports.The cases have been more but there are no conclusions in the case because they are not coming to India.If we cancel the Passport soon we can detect the case to closure says police.

In 2015-16 120 cases has been registered the NRI cases for abandoning wives, from the past five years in every year 100 cases has been emerged on the NRI cases, in which many of the cases not yet resolved.
