Police arrested IT officer for dowry harassment

Hyderabad April 19: Nowadays harassing on dowry's cases has been increased excessively, here such thing happened in Hyderabad, as IRS officer harassing frequently and The Jubli Hills Police has been registered a case on Tuesday

While going to matter, IRS officer working as an assistant commissioner with the Income-Tax department in Hyderabad.

According to the police officials, the case was booked against Accused Vamsi Krishna (27), a resident of Jubilee Hills, based on a complaint lodged by his wife.

The complaint reveals that he was harassing her for dowry ever since their marriage two years ago, despite her family giving him a ‘huge sum of money as dowry at the time of the marriage.

When the victim first time approached the police, she and her husband were sent to the Bharosa Centre to attend counseling sessions. As the matter didn't get resolved, the police registered the case on Tuesday.

"Despite attending counseling for three times, the issue was not solved," police said.
