Rs 4000 to each farmer : Harish Rao

Hyderabad, April 18: Telangana Minister for Irrigation T Harish Rao here on Monday said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is committed to the welfare of the farmers and came forward to offer Rs 4000 to each farmer towards fertilizers.

Going to full details, The TRS Govt has offered to provide fertilizers free of cost to the farmers from next financial year he said and attributed it as another feather in the KCR Govt that has already waived off Rs 17000 Cr crop loans.

Impressed at the free fertilizers scheme of Telangana, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also come up with a similar plan of offering fertilizers free of cost to the farmers he said.

Participating in some development programs at Khammam district along with Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao and MLA J Venkat Rao he visited a few lakes and offered to develop them with funds
