BJP leader receives threat calls

Hyderabad April 18: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator G Kishan Reddy has on Monday lodged a complaint with the city police alleging that a stranger had threatened him over the phone.

In his complaint, Reddy said he had received a phone call and the stranger, who spoke in Urdu, threatened him saying that a team was moving to eliminate him. The man abused him as well, he said.

Reddy met Hyderabad City Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy and lodged a complaint with him. The police have found that the phone call was made using a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) number. The Cyber Crime police are investigating.
