Rajini says Bharathiraja never liked him

Chennai, April 15: Kollywood Super Star Rajinikanth, who was busy in the ongoing schedule of Robo 2. At the grand opening ceremony of Bharathiraja International Institute of Cinema Superstar Rajinikanth's humor-laden speech was well received by those in attendance.
He heaped praise on his '16 Vayadhinile' director by saying that he was a man of a clean heart and that is why right from MGR to K. Balachander shared a very close relationship with him.
Rajinikanth jokingly added that Bharathiraja always used to wonder why people did not accept him as a hero in 'Kallukkul Eeram' but accepted Rajini. He also said that the National Award winning director never accepted him as a good actor.
