Warangal April 10: Telangana Congress leaders and workers took out a rally and staged a dharna in front of Enumala market yard in Warangal district of Telangana demanding remunerative prices for red chilly, today.

Coming to details, TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy who led the protest demanded that Rs 12,000 per quintal of Mirchi should be paid to farmers.

Earlier, there was mild tension when the police stopped the agitators near the market yard following which the protesting Congressmen raised anti-govt slogans.

Uttam said that the party would continue its agitation till the farmers get remunerative prices for their produce including pulses.
