KTR urged to levy the fees in corporate schools

Hyderabad, April 4: The Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao has inaugurated the Hirose Global School at Chitrapuri Colony in Khajaguda on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR urged the managements of private schools to adopt self-control and refrain from charging heavy fees. He said that education should not be commercialized.

He said that the state government had set up 500 gurukul schools across the state to provide quality education to children at very low cost. He also said that children required digital education along with regular education and that the gurukul schools catered to this, too.



He reiterated that the state government had been striving to provide adequate infrastructure to government schools and that Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari had been striving to strengthen education in government schools following the directions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy, MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, MLA Prakash Goud, MLCs Karne Prabhakar and Sambur Raju, and GHMC Mayor B Ram Mohan also participated in the event.
