Mancherial Collector ordered officials about Lorry strike

Hyderabad April 01: We all know that Lorry owners' strike is going since from the Friday in Telangana, and it is affecting on daily needs such as vegetables and milk, so Mancherial District Collector R V Karnan ordered the official to see alternative measures.

He held a review meeting on lorry owners' strike with officials from police, revenue, transport and civil supplies departments at the Collectorate here on Friday. He asked them to ensure that there is enough fuel in diesel, petrol and gas agencies.

The Collector ordered the officials to review reports of regular transportation vehicles. He asked them to set up a control room and the control room phone numbers - 9849279734 and 9676535628 - should be available round the clock.

RTO Krishnaiah, MVI Vivekananda Reddy, RTC DVM Madhava Reddy, DCP John Wesley, DSO Prasad and other officials concerned were present.
