MP Kavitha urged with Center govt for NEET exam centers

Hyderabad April 01: Telangana has less NEET exam center, so TRS MP Kavitha urged with the center to allot two more centers in Telangana because the centre government has increased the exam centers in other states for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-2017 (NEET-2017) examination.

She wrote a letter to Union Human Resources Development Minister Prakash Javadekar and urged him to set up two more exam centers in addition to existing two centers.

She said in the letter that rationality in allocation of centers to all the states is lacking and it causes inconvenience to students. Kavitha cited that in Gujarat three more centers were set up in addition to two centers and in a small State of Kerala, two more centers were set up in addition to three existing centers.

Similarly, the Centre has given two more centers for Guntur and Tirupati in addition to Vizag and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, she said. Keeping the demand in view, the Centre should allot two more NEET centers one each in Adilabad and Khammam enabling the students to take the test and avoid inconvenience to many, she said.
