Telangana is 1st in the country, with growth rate of 21%: KCR

Hyderabad: On the Occasion of Telugu new year Ugadi Festival, The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has confidently declared some happy moments, which are the achievements of Telangana state on Wednesday at Pragathi Bhavan.

Speaking at Ugadi function organised at Pragati Bhavan, the Chief Minister, after rendering of the Panchangam by Dr.Bachampally Santoshkumar Shastri, said as per the Government of India statistics and the figures worked out by the state officials, the growth rate would be 21 percent which means the state will have additional revenue of Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 crore every year.

Even if one puts the figures on a conservative level, it will not be less than 15 percent, he said. Telangana has become a welfare state and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to have appreciated the State Government's initiatives on multiple occasions, the Chief Minister said.

Expressing happiness over the prediction, the Chief Minister said, "There can be no other happier news than hearing that there will be good rains and good crops. The scientists too had said that there will be no El Nino effect."

Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly S Madhusudhana Chary, Chairman Legislative Council K Swamy Goud, Ministers, MLAs officials and other invitees were present at the function.
