Hyderabad, March 29: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to arrange the special residential degree colleges for girl students, who belong to ST caste, which was announced on Tuesday.
For the SC girl students, the government had sanctioned 30 Degree colleges till now. Similarly, the Chief Minister wanted to set up Degree Colleges for ST girls.
The CM also directed the officials concerned to find out how many of such colleges for ST girl students could be started during the 2017-2018 academic year.
Several Student associations are expressed their gratitude to the CM KCR for the hike of mess charges in the presence of MLA R. Krishnaiah at Pragathi Bhavan on Tuesday.
