Telangana Temperature registers

Hyderabad, March 26: Telangana State has been warming day by day.Hyderabad(Bhagyanagaram) recorded the season's highest temperature at 40 degree Celsius on Friday against the normal maximum temperature which usually hovers around 36.8 degree Celsius.

The highest maximum temperature across Telangana was recorded at 41 degree Celsius in Adilabad, followed by 40.2 degree Celsius at Mahbubnagar and 40 degree Celsius at Bhadrachalam. Almost all other districts recorded around 39 degree Celsius.

The highest-ever recorded temperature in the month of March in Hyderabad was recorded on March 23, 2010, at 41.3 degree Celsius. The record for highest temperature in March across Telangana is held by Bhadrachalam at 42.8 degree Celsius which was recorded on March 18 last year.

On March 25th, 2017, The total of 9051 megawatts has been consumed when in March month, previously on March 6 it has 9003 wats respectively.



India Meteorological Department officials said that due to lack of upper cyclonic circulation or trough over Telangana there is no moisture feeding from either Bay of Bengal or the Arabian Sea and as a result, the relative humidity is also very low in the region, less than 50 PC.

Moreover, there is the presence of anticyclone over Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh resulting in dry winds prevailing over the state. Due to these conditions and lack of clouds, the temperature has shot up.
