GHMC greater income

Hyderabad, March 23: After the demonetization, the public had struggled due to the scarcity of money in banks and ATMs in the financial year, but the treasure of GHMC has fulfilled without loss, while compared to the previous financial year.

During demonetization time, Most of the people were paid the huge amount of taxes to the government. GHMC has received 1025 crores in the form of property taxes in the previous year, but in the present year, GHMC got collected Rs.1057 crores.

Meanwhile, The officials also expecting an additional 200 crores at the end of this financial year. The huge income had received from town planning, trade licenses, LRS fees and others including property tax also.

In the last year of March 31, GHMC had collected Rs.2490.25 crores, but in this year, it has collected Rs.2490.71 and expecting additional 200 crores.

The Income has raised because GHMC official had conducted several activities and improving the internal resources. These all aspects are addressed by the Municipal Minister KTR in the Assembly on Wednesday.
