2 men arrested for cheating bank

Hyderabad March 19: Detective Department of city police on Saturday arrested two persons Akella Pavan Kumar (35) and Andole Shankerlal Anil Kumar alias Anil (36) on charge of fraudulently obtaining a bank loan.

The suspects had obtained the loan in the name of one Chintalapudi Subba Rao and mortgaged his property measuring 200 square yards located at Boduppal. "They submitted the property documents and obtained a loan of Rs 40 lakh from Bank of India Adikmet Branch," said the police.

The duo was produced in the court. The police are making efforts to nab three more persons who are involved in the case.
