Sex racket caught

Hyderabad, March 17: The online sex racket has been arrested by the Special Operation of Rachakonda Police Team and rescued three women on Thursday.

According to the police, based on a tip-off, the team conducted a decoy operation and first nabbed Murad Ibrahim Bhombal alias Munna (42). On further inquiry, it was found that he running an online sex racket with the help of his wife, Roza Murad (22).

"He was contacted using phone number details available on the website through which the racket was being organised. He came to Yapral X Road to pick up the personnel and took them to a location under Jawaharnagar police station limits," said Naveen Kumar, Inspector, Malkajgiri SOT.

Three women were rescued, and a search is on to nab another suspect identified as Ritesh alias Charan, who was allegedly running the brothel in the city.

Police said Charan was the mediator who looked after the business in the city, while there was a key suspect behind the entire racket. Efforts were on to identify and nab that person, police said.

The victims who were rescued were shifted to a rescue home and the couple was handed over to Jawaharnagar police station officials for further investigation.
