It's becoming more apparent than ever that our addiction to social media has become a detriment to our health. Studies have increasingly shown the effect of social media on our psychology.

Social media use creates sleep disturbances. we frequently check Facebook, WhatsApp, hike more in midnights, for this we may be lacking in sleep.

Most of the youngsters have been facing the sleep apnea in the major metro politician cities.Recently many of the telecom companies giving free data offer which intended to lead sleep apnea in the recent days.

Social networking apps have been increased nowadays, people were more addicted to the social networks than the relationship of family, everybody has a smartphone in this modern era. Most of the persons are doing chitchatting in the midnites with their beloved ones.

On the occasion of WORLD SLEEP DAY (March 17), Aims-Star has been surveyed on these social media usage.According to the survey near about 40% of the population has been addicted to the social media and they are suffering huge problems with sleep apnea.

Most of the people were suing the social media to communication 71%,

social networking 67%

for entertainment 59%

for online ticketing 24%

for online shopping 23% the survey said.

Below 1 yr baby = 14-18

Below 3 years baby = 12-15

3-5 years age = 11-13

Five to 12 yrs = 9-11

Above 21 yrs = 7-8

Above 50 years = 5-7
