For blackmailing his girlfriend

Chittur March 8: Blackmailing on women has been excessively hiking in these days, we have ben seen several incidents against the women for blackmailing reasons.Similarly here an incident happens in Chittoor District here on Tuesday. A team of Cyberabad police from Hyderabad arrested a second-year B.Tech student of a private engineering college on the outskirts of Chittoor on Monday night as part of the investigation into a case.Circle-Inspector (Chittoor-East) S. Chandrasekhar said the student, a resident of Chittoor Mandal, had done his Intermediate in Hyderabad. During that time, he had reportedly befriended a girl classmate, and allegedly took a video of their private moments. In the last couple of years, he kept blackmailing her for money and extorted sizeable amount several times. Recently, he reportedly uploaded the video on social networking sites. Following this, the girl s parents lodged a complaint against him, leading to his arrest.
