Spot dead due to sudden break failure

Hyderabad March 5: In a drastic incident, A woman has died when A four-wheeler crashed the two-wheeler here in Champapet because of the brake failure of four wheeler.Coming to details A housewife got crushed to death while her husband was critically injured after a four-wheeler rammed their Honda Activa from behind at Champapet in Saidabad on Saturday.Death was instant for Venkatamma, 40, who was sitting pillion. Her husband Srinivas Goud sustained grievous injuries. The couple living in Suryanagar of Champapet was on their way to Saroornagar lake around 1 p.m. when the accident took place.Near Focus hospital, a Toofan, Multi Utility Vehicle, lost control and hit their vehicle from behind. The MUV went on to hit another scooter and came to a halt only after hitting the median.Mohd. Ibrahim riding the second two-wheeler escaped with minor injuries. Laxman, driver of the MUV, told the police that he lost control of the vehicle as its brakes had failed.
