Medchal Police rescued a girl from Child Marriage

Hyderabad, Feb 3, The Police were rescued a minor girl from child marriage in Medchal here on Thursday.While coming to details, The parents of a 16 yrs old minor girl, who were residents of Raghavendra colony have been planned to do a child marriage on Thursday. They have made all arrangments and also booked the function hall for it. Some unknown persons have passed the information to the child helpline number 1098. Suddenly , the atmosphere got changed due to the entrance of Medchal police.They have stopped the marriage and rescued the victim girl.Hyderabad, March 02: There are some officials of Matha & Shishu sankshema organizations including Medchal CDPO Akkeshwar Rao, SI veerabrahmam, Medchal Revenue Inspector Naga Jyothi , Childline coordinator Santhosh had reached the spot and gave the counseling to the victim s parents.They also requested them, The marriage should be done after completion of the 18 years age of the girl.
