Supreme Court orders Rs. 3.5 lakh compensation to Acid Attack victim

New Delhi, February 28: A woman attacked with acid long ago, the high court had given to accused person as one-year jail, and 5000 fine. The victim did not satisfy his punishment then she appealed to a supreme court. The high court refused the supreme court statement. the supreme court said that there is a proof doctor certification about accident attack but the high court has given less punishment to accused person. Based on victime appeals Supreme court judges of justice deepak misra, R. Bhanumathi has given judge as accused person should give 50000 rupees and Andhra Pradesh government should give 3.5 lakh to victim.
