AP govt refused to take Special category status(SCS)

Vijayawada, February 14: As we know that, Andhra pradesh s Special category status is one of the raising issue, which got huge response and many protests are occured in the state.Most of the celebrities and politicians were participated in the protests to get the special status.Newly-elected APNGOs association president P Ashok Babu said they cannot take part in the stir demanding special category status (SCS) for AP while discharging their duties. He said it is not possible to attain SCS as long as the political parties carry out the agitation individually.He said the association would take out on a Chalo Parliament rally on March 2 demanding the annulment of contributory pension for central and state government employees. Ashok Babu, who took over as the chief at the Gandhinagar office here on Monday.He also said that the priority of the newly-elected executive body is to work towards the welfare of employees. He said that post-bifurcation of the state, contentious issues of the employees have been resolved.
