Minor girl committed suicide

Eluru, February 11: As we know that, Teenage suicides are hiking day by day. A suicide of a teenage girl has been filed in the police station on Friday.While coming to details, A 17-year-old girl student committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of a private college hostel building at Jangareddigudem in West Godavari district on Friday morning.According to police, Swapna Nayak (17) of Buttayagudem, was studying Intermediate first year (MPC) at Vidya Vikas Junior College at Jangareddigudem.As the Intermediate examinations are fast approaching, her parents joined her in the college hostel. However, on Friday morning at around 6 am, Swapna went to the 3rd floor of the hostel and jumped down. She received a head injury. The college staff immediately shifted her to a private hospital and later to a government hospital. The doctors there declared her brought dead.On receiving information, the victim s parents reached the government hospital and wept inconsolably. They said, "We admitted her in the hostel just 15 days back. If she stayed with us, this would not have happened."Police were filed as a suspect case, and started investigation too.
