A lady was dragged upto 200metres by Auto

Hyderabad January 25: Yesterday a lady was dragged up to 200 meters while she is trying to get into the auto. The latest incident took place at Mehdipatnam area in the city on Tuesday. The police could not identify the auto immediately as it had no registration number.The woman was trying to get into the auto, but driver started the vehicle/ Due to this, the woman was dragged by the rickshaw. Fortunately, she held on to the handle bar, which saved her from falling over and being mowed down by auto s rear wheel. The onlookers started shouting at the sight of it. However, the obstinate driver didn t stop the vehicle. Finally, the woman lost her grip and fell down, the auto proceeded. Locals shifted her to the nearby private hospital. She was treated for injuries on her both legs.On Sunday, a hamali (porter) was mowed down by an auto at Shamshergunj as the front wheel of the auto came off. By the time the driver and locals tried to rescue him, the porter had died on spot.
