Nine-year-old girl brutally assaulted by Neighbor

Hyderabad January 08: A nine-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her neighbour in Kamareddy district of Telangana. The shameful incident took place on Thursday. The victim s parents raised a complaint following which Telangana Police arrested the accused. "Police have registered a case under section 376 (F) of Indian Penal Code and Protection of Children fro Sexual Offenses (POCSO) ACT," Superintendent of Police Swetha said. The man identified as Pochaiah who was arrested today ran a grocery shop near the house of the victim. According to the Police, Pochaiah lured the minor into his house after offering her chocolates and biscuits and allegedly harassed her on two occasions around a fortnight back.
