This State has been selected for prestigious Krishi Karman Award

Krishi Karman Award is given to the best performing state in food grain production.

Andhra Pradesh had been selected for this prestigious Krishi Karman Award in Total food-grains ( Category – I ) for the year 2017-18. This award conferred by the Central Government, consists of a cash award of Rs 5 Cr.

Category – I consist : food-grain crops of Rice, Wheat, Pulses and Coarse Cereals

Bengal is also awarded Krishi Karman award for maize production for the year 2017-18.
