YS Jaganmohan Reddy is the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and right after he took oath, he started working on his promises. YS Jagan held a meeting with senior officials in his residence last evening and his speech clearly revealed that YS Jagan is not much bothered about the capital. He wanted to focus more on the nine promises (navaratnalu) made. YS Jagan as of now is comfortable with the infrastructure and government offices to continue his governance.
YS Jagan said that the Secretariat and High Court are already ready so that they need not pool huge amounts for the capital as of now. YS Jagan is expected to have a meeting with the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) officials in the coming week to discuss about the happenings and further steps to be taken about Amaravati. There are talks that the residential blocks for government officials will be completed and other works would be kept pending.
