Akkineni fans may shift hopes from Akhil to Naga Chaitanya

Hyderabad, Apr 24: Akkineni Akhil was labelled as a superstar even before making his debut. Fans believed that he is star material and will become a big star unlike his brother Naga Chaitanya.

Akkineni heroes always used to be at the top in Telugu film industry. Akkineni Nageswara Rao was number 2 in his era and Akkineni Nagarjuna was one among the famous quartet of nineties.

But the third generation of Akkineni heroes failed to reach the top while Tarak, Mahesh and Charan were able to become superstars.

Chay has been restricted to a mid range hero even after being in the industry for a decade. So fans hoped that Akhil could become the next big thing in Tollywood. Sadly, he couldn't score a hit until now. He is still unsuccessful after doing three films.

While Akhil is struggling to find a hit, Naga Chaitanya bounced back with Majili. He scored career best hit with Majili to solidify his place among the mid range table toppers.

If Akhil fails to live up to expectations with his next film then fans would shift their loyalties to Chaitanya. It will become extremely difficult for Akhil to bounce back if he cannot find success with his upcoming film.
