TRS blocking our campaigns: Revanth Reddy to EC

Hyderabad, Apr 09: TPCC working president and Malkajgiri Lok Sabha Congress candidate A. Revanth Reddy complained to the Election Commission that the TRS with the help of law enforcement agencies was obstructing his campaign by stopping canvassing vehicles though they had valid permission.

Revanth Reddy alleged that there was every apprehension that Congress workers and their family members would be taken into illegal custody by the police at the fag end of the campaign on the behest of the ruling party.

He requested the EC to take immediate action and issue directions to the appropriate agencies not to harass Congress workers and his followers and to see that the campaigning is run in a smooth manner without obstacles from the police.
