AP MPs have the highest annual income in the country

As per the self-declared affidavits, it has been revealed that AP MPs have the highest income per anum in the country with Rs 1.05 crores. All the 19 MPs are named as the highest earners from Lok Sabha. The analysis by the Association of Democratic Rights (ADR) and National Election Watch (NEW) revealed the news. All the 479 Lok Sabha MPs submitted their affidavits before the elections. Odisha which is the poorest state has the richest MPs in the country. AP MPs have the second highest average annual income with Rs 68.8 lakhs.

Telangana MPs average annual income is said to be Rs 30.06 lakhs. The survey revealed that 42 MPs did not declare their income and the survey did not include their names. Two MPs from Goa have the lowest average annual income of Rs 5.2 lakh. 98 MPs are into various businesses and their average annual income stands at Rs 43.6 crores.
