Tollywood's Adult comedy broke down to click at the box office

Hyderabad, Mar 22: It has been a very dry year to the Telugu film industry as there has been only one super hit in the first quarter of 2019. Even many films aren't getting released these days. This is making F2, which was released in January, the only option for the people who are planning to go watch a film.

This week, three films were supposed to get released, 'Lakshmi's NTR', 'Prema Katha Chitram', and 'Cheekati Gadhilo Chithakottudu'. But the first two have been pushed to get released on March 29th.

This resulted in a solo release for the adult horror comedy 'Cheekati Gadhilo Chitakkottudu'. But the film failed to hit the right bells at the box office. As it is an adult comedy, families didn't show up to the theatres.

Even the youth who went to watch it came out with a disappointment. Hence, it has got lukewarm openings on the first day, making it another misfire.
