Might be delay in Telugu upcoming releases

Hyderabad, Mar 12: With elections in the two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) announced for April 11, there may be a delay in the release of a few Telugu films.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha-starrer 'Majili' and another small film 'Prema Katha Chitram' are likely to reschedule their release dates, with Nani's 'Jersey' and Sai Dharam Tej's 'Chitralahari' also expected to follow suit.

Apart from the elections, the Indian Premiere League (IPL) also starts in April, which may affect film fortunes as well. However, in an intelligent move, producer Dil Raju has scheduled the release of Mahesh Babu-starrer 'Maharshi' for May, efficiently deterring both the elections and the IPL season.
