Over the recent ensuing tension between India and Pakistan, Mandira said that war is not a solution. "It is very sad. it breaks one's heart to hear such a shocking news like this and I don't believe war is the answer, I believe dialogue is the answer. It is heart breaking to see it. An act like this, the way it was done, its horrible. People have to lose their lives, I am not a war person, it should be all love and not war," she said.
