Telangana state panchayat elections second phase in february

Telangana state panchayat elections have been dropped in some panchayat's due to some inevitable reasons. Regarding this, The Election Commission is preparing to conduct polls in those panchayat's and wards on 28th of this month. The election commission today announced the election schedule. As per the schedule, In the seven panchayats of the state the total number of wards in seven panchayats and six panchayat sarpanch posts, various panchayats ward members posts are noted to be 246. Nominations will be received from 14th of this month. The results will be announced on 28th itself and on the same day, the Vice sarpanch electing will be held.

Since the election of sub-sarpach in 560 panchayats has been postponed. The Election Commission has issued orders for their polls to commence on 18th of this month. On that day, DPO's with panchayat officers will conduct the elections and elect sub sarpanch posts. The jury and senior civil judicial courts have been selected by the election Commission in those panchayat's across the state for resolving electoral complaints on that day.
