Man inmate Ex-Girlfriend In Hotel and Rapes Her

MAHARASHTRA, FEBRUARY 12: A man from Boisar in Maharashtra's Palghar district was arrested on Monday for allegedly holding his former lover captive in a lodge and raping her overnight, police said Tuesday.

The accused, identified as Faisal Saifi, and the 21-year-old victim had been in the relationship since 2017. But from since few weeks the girl was looking down his nose and refusing him.

Saifi had secretly filmed their intimate moments and with the help of this, he was blackmailing the victim to maintain the physical relationship with him.
The alleged incident occurred on the intervening night of February 10 and 11, a police officer said.

On Sunday night, he called the woman to the lodge saying that he will delete the video clips but he locked him in the lodge and repeatedly raped her.

The woman then approached the local police station and lodged a complaint against Saifi.

Police arrested Saifi under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for rape and criminal intimidation.
