Pakistan gets the consolation win in last T20

Pakistan beat South Africa in the last T20 match of the series by 27 runs. It was a dead rubber as South Africa had won the first two match of the series. South Africa won the series by 2-1.

David Miller, the stand-in captain of South Africa won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first. Pakistan started cautiously by scoring just a unit run of the first over. But Babar Azam scored four boundaries in the second over. He was timing the ball beautifully just like in the second match. But In the next over Chris Morris got better of him. Fakhar Zaman then started attacking but he also got out. Pakistan scored 50 runs in the powerplay with the loss of 2 wickets.

Shoaib Malik and Rizwan steadied the ship and ensured there was no collapse until halfway mark. But of them and Hussain Talat fall in quick succession. At one stage Pakistan was 146-9 in 18.3 overs. But thanks to Shadab Khan clean hitting in the last over which helped Pakistan reach 168-9. He scored 21runs in last over of the inning. Beuran Hendricks was the pick of the bowler as he picked 4 wickets and only gave 14 runs in his 4 over

In reply, South Africa was off to a poor start. They had loosed 3 wickets in 7.1 over and had only scored 30 runs. From there it was always tough for them to chase the score. They succumbed to the task and got bundled out on 141. Only Chris Morris (55 of 29 balls) scored Half century. For Pakistan Mohammad Amir took 3 wickets
