Hectic debate in Assembly on Injustice done to AP

Vijayawada, Feb 01: Discussion on the implementation of the Reorganisation Act in the Assembly is on February 1, when a debate would be conducted on the injustice done to the state. The unanimous resolution will be sent to the Centre.

Pensions Festival will be held on February 2, 3 and 4 and these three days should be celebrated as Welfare Festival, said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He stated, “There will be discussion on the issues of farmers on February 5, then we will put forward the budget.

Discussion on the Governor’s speech will be on February 6 and a discussion on ‘Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow’ will also take place. Discussion on irrigation projects is scheduled for the next day. On February 9, we will be doing the house warming of 4 lakh homes.”

The CM further added, “We have doubled the farmers’ returns, the construction of 17 projects has been completed. Another six projects are ready to be inaugurated, 22 projects are in a work-in-progress stage and we have also started 14 new projects. All these should be taken to the people through the legislative Assembly."

Mr Naidu said, “BC’s sub- plan resolution and Kapus Reservation Bills will be approved. In the All-Party meeting held yesterday, the parties did not come together for political benefits. But there is genuine sense of responsibility in public organisations. For special category status we need the support of the JAC.”
