A Hindu Women appointed as a civil judge in Pakistan

Karachi, January 30: It s a piece of big news for the Hindu community in Hyderabad in Pakistan, who has been considered as minorities. Suman Kumari, belonging to the Hindu community, has been appointed as a civil judge, making her the first woman belonging to the minority the group to be selected for the post, according to a media report.



“Suman has opted for a challenging profession, but I am sure she will go places through hard work and honesty.” said my father who is an eye specialist.








Suman cleared her LLB examination from Hyderabad and completed her masters from Karachi’s Szabist University. At first, she will be serving in Qambar-Shahdadkot, her native district.

In 2005, Rana Bhagwandas became the first judge from the Hindu community.
