Queen(South) Remakes: Particular preview of 4 versions

Hyderabad, June 30: Starring Kangana Ranaut in the titular role, Queen is Hindi comedy-drama blockbuster film which was released in 2014. Made on a budget of Rs. 12.5 crore, the film earned over Rs. 108 crore at the global box-office, emerging as a commercial success.

Queen which was diversely liked & enjoyed by one and all had won several awards. At the 60th Filmfare Awards ceremony, the film won six leading awards, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actress for Ranaut. At the 62nd National Film Awards ceremony, the film won the Best Hindi Film and Best Actress awards.

Here comes the interesting aspect of the subject.....after 5 years of original release, Queen is now being made in 4 different south Indian languages.

Taking that into regional cinema and focusing on different new insees of the state is nice for the entire country to watch. Being a woman-centric film, the film stars four of the heroines as mentioned below.

1. Tamannaah Bhatia - That is Mahalakshmi (Telugu)

2. Kajal Aggarwal - Paris Paris (Tamil)

3. Parul Yadav - Butterfly (Kannada)

4. Manjima Mohan - Zam Zam (Malayalam)

As promised, all the 4 trailers have got a big round of applause from the audience. Now that the release date coming closer, there has been huge expectations on the remakes which are at a time been shot on sharing locations.

Reportedly, it is said that when there is a thought of remaking the film in South Indian languages the team approached so many female actors to portray the role, but they denied it for few reasons which are not yet known.

Knowing that there will be definite comparisons within the original version & remade rendition, however, these 4 women had come up with the stamina to break the line.

Not being completely faithful remake, along with the native touch & cultural differences, the develop insist some commercial elements too. While the 3 languages portray the heroine belonging to Hindu religion, the one Malayalam version showcases the girl from Muslim community and which is why, the reason was revealed.

Yes!! On an interaction with the media, the South Indian Queens (Kajal, Tamannaah, Parul) spoke:

Still in some remote parts of the country, when a girl wanted to go abroad she needs to take the permission from parents (or) spouse (or) someone, but the things in Kerela are not like that.

Its more maternal kind of society, remarkably, the thing is the girl saying "I wanna go abroad" is very normal out there and hence we made the girl muslim and things are more believable & thats how it went.

"In the #MeeToo landscape running even today, this relevant story relates the place of women in the society & perhaps in times too," feels audience.
