TDP in Rayalaseema: Strong - Stronger - Strongest

Kurnool, January 29: Here is the latest news that,Prominent Political Leader Kotla Suryaprakasa Reddy is making a calculated move for their bright future career in Kurnool district politics. They are considering actively to leave the Congress and join the ruling Telugu Desam Party.

From this aspect, Suryaprakasa Reddy along with his family members have met with and discussed their future with CM Chandrababu Naidu. In this regard, The TDP is also positive to welcome the Kotla family to improve party’s strength in the Reddy community in Rayalaseema region.

This is being considered a blow to the opposition party YCP as well. Most Reddy political families are joining hands with Jaganmohan Reddy because of a new caste reawakening to recapture power in AP. These include the Nedurumilli and the Anam families apart from others in the region. The long-time strong leaders from Reddy community in some instances are not preferring Jagan because of his highhandedness and big ego.

According to the latest reports, Kotla Suryaprakasa Reddy is expecting Kurnool MP seat and also two or three assembly segments in the district. Given his family’s importance in district politics, Chandrababu Naidu has also showed keen interest. If this family joins the TDP, it is expected to change winning chances in favour of the ruling party in many segments besides improving party’s image and acceptability in entire Seema region.
