ERVIS: Ship invented by 12-year boy to save marine life

Haaziq Kazi, a 12-year kid from Pune studying in Indus International School, has designed "ERVIS", a ship that could help in saving marine life.

The ship s sensor uses centripetal force to suck waste, water and Marine life & segregates waste from water and marine life, where waste is segregated to 5 more parts. Kazi got inspired after watching some documentaries showing the impact of ocean pollution.

Kazi said that he got this idea of building this ship when he was 9. According to Kazi, the waste in oceans and bodies affecting marine life negatively and if this issue is not taken seriously its gonna effect generations.

He says as per his knowledge 80% of Amazon and 60 % of edible fishes in HongKong has Plastic in them. He is working with conversation organizations and forums to create awareness about the harmful waste in the ocean and how to reduce it.
