Chickpea Flour Pancakes
1 cup besan
1 tsp turmeric
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
3 spring onions
½ red chili
1 tbsp ghee
½ tsp red chili flakes
Add the flour, turmeric, salt, pepper and chili flakes to a mixing bowl and Mix them well. Now add water and stir very well with for to form pancake batter.
The batter needs to look very runny.
Chop the veggies finely and add them to the batter.
Heat your non-stick pan and add little ghee and spread evenly
Add about a ladle of the batter when the pan is hot.
Cook for about 3 minutes and flip the pancakes and cook for another 2-3 min and your pancake will be ready.
Remember - it’s important to eat these pancakes hot. as they taste delicious when hot.
unsalted butter 2 tbsps
honey 4 tbsps
vanilla extract ½ tsp
ripe bananas 3
all-purpose flour 1 cup
baking powder 1½ tsp
baking soda ½ tsp
cinnamon powder ½ tsp
salt 1 pinch
Pre-heat oven to 190ºC
Melt the butter and add honey and vanilla, mix well and keep aside.
In a bowl add all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Mash the bananas and mix with the butter mixture.
Add the banana-butter mixture to the flour mixture and mix it all together with a fork to mix everything together well. The final mixture will not be as flowing as a cake batter, but more thick and lumpy.
Put paper cups in muffin molds and fill them about half with the mixture.
Put in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
