KTR about AP news in Telangana

Hyderabad, January 24: Telangana Working President KTR has raised his voice against "Andhra people." Addressing journalists at the felicitation ceremony of Chanti Kranthi Kiran, journalist-turned-MLA from Andhole here on Wednesday, he said that the section of media was publishing Amaravati s news in Telangana editions, but is not publishing Telangana s news in AP editions.

KTR fired on some media houses by this discrimination and indifference, "They are still showing their dominant attitude...just to portray that whatever they do is right. There are some newspapers which publish Amaravati-related news in Telangana editions. So, why are these not publishing Telangana news in AP editions?."

While sharing his recent experience when he was in Delhi, "When I was in Delhi and checked the newspaper. There was no news of Telangana. So, when I had asked them, they told me it is Andhra edition. If Andhra edition doesn't have our news, why should Telangana state have Andhra news? And, when CM speaks about this, media people will talk about the freedom of expression and gets angry."

He stated that the TRS government had been working for the welfare of the journalists for the last four years. “The TRS government has done justice to all sections of the society which had participated in the separate Telangana movement,” he said, assuring that the government would try to resolve pending issues of journalists as well.

KTR also said that this attitude still reflects the fact that they think "We still don't have wisdom. There is a need to promote media houses with Telangana ideology." While KTR s complaint seems to be right from his side.
