Marri fires on EC Rajath Kumar

Hyderabad, January 24: Marri Sashidhar Reddy, the TPCC election committee chairman on Wednesday said that his party would be expelled from the National voter’s Day celebrations on January 25.

Speaking to media at Gandhi Bhavan he said that the party would organize a protest on February 24 along with his alliance parties TDP, TJS, and CPI denouncing the omission of lakhs of voters from the electoral lists during the last Assembly elections.

“ECI had conceded that there were discrepancies and falsely claimed that final voters list published for assembly polls will correct them, in which they miserably failed,” Marri said.

He also said Rajat had set record in omission of lakhs of voters from the list he added there was no guarantee that the names omitted during the last Assembly elections would be included in the final list this time.
