TS ready to face Second phase GP polls

Hyderabad, January 24: TRS, the ruling party in Telangana was continuing the same race in the Panchayat Elections too. In the first phase Panchayat polls 85% turnout was recorded by TRS, may same speed will continue in the second phase also.

The second phase Panchayat Elections will be starts from 25th of this month. As many as 4,137-gram panchayats will go for polls in the second phase which will also cover 36,620 wards.

The election would be held from 7 AM to 1 PM, counting of votes would be taken up on the same afternoon so that results could be declared by evening. All the formalities for this elections were finished by officials.

The third phase Panchayat Polls will be starts from 30th of this month.
