High Court notice to censor board on Lakshmi's NTR

Amaravati, January 23: Andra Pradesh High Court has sent notices to central and regional censor boards on the most known director Ram Gopal Varma s Lakshmi s NTR.

The movie makers recently released the song with the lyrics Dhaga... Dhaga... Kutra.. from this movie and Pitapuram MLA SVSN Varma raised against this song and he approached the High Court. The MLA in his petition stated that the song portrays Andra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in the bad light and with elections around the corner, it should be removed from all the streaming platforms.

After hearing the arguments, the court has served the notices to the censor and also the producer of Lakshmi s NTR. The court has given three weeks time to respond on the notices.

RGV is yet to react on the notices but we can assume that he would reply quite controversially.

MLA SVSN Varma has already approached the Hyderabad High Court against the director RGV, but he withdrew the plea.
