As we grow the aging signs in our body to increase. This may even lead to having old-age looks very early but what to do in order to have healthy aging. Here are 7 major health tips to have healthy aging.

1. Eat healthy food
Eating good food is crucial for good health, energy, and a healthy body. Healthy food should be low in saturated fat and should include lots of fruit and vegetables, whole grains, oily fish, some amount of dairy products and lean meat. Drink lots of water to keep your self hydrated and avoid sugary juices.




2. Take good care of your eyes and teeth
As we grow our hearing and eyesight can be affected, so it’s important to get them checked regularly. Hearing problem is common in aged people so have regular check-ups or visit your doctor when you face any issue with hearing.
It s also important to have an eye test once or twice every year so that the changes in the vision can be analyzed and corrected.
Brush your teeth twice a day. Floss at least once a day, Floss helps to prevent gum disease. If the gums are not cleaned properly you might notice sore or bleeding gums. With aging, this may increase and cause many health issues if not treated properly.




3. Exercise everyday
Exercise helps you to stay strong and healthy. Exercise helps in toning your body and risk of being obese is very less, which can even prevent diabetes and heart stokes in old-age. Exercise also solves the sleeping problems. Its suggested that aged people should walk or do mild exercises at-least for 150minutes every week.




4. Regular health check-ups
Its advisable to get some routine tests done to check your blood pressure and cholesterol levels. High readings increase your risk factor for stroke and heart disease but any problems are completely reversible with medication. Its good to have health check-ups once every year.


5. Vitamin D supplement
Many people have a vitamin D deficiency. It affects half of the adult population. Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to bone problems and also cardiovascular disease. Try to get some sunshine standing for 15-20 minutes during day time. also eat foods like eggs, fish oil. If needed you can also take a vitamin D supplement.


6. Stop smoking and have a good sleep
Smoking is bad for your body and your brain. It may cause many health problems like heart disease, lung cancer, and bronchitis. If you stop smoking your lung functionality will increase, which is good for your health.

Try to get proper sleep, so that you will not be tired and grumpy. Have warm milk before going to bed. Also can take chamomile tea or some natural essential teas to get good sleep


7. Meet People once in a while
Spending time with other people can prevent you from feeling lonely or anxious. If you find that you are no longer able to do the things you used to do, try to develop new hobbies and interests or think about becoming a volunteer. Try to go to new places where you can find your inner peace and make new friends. Being lonely is the main reason for many health issues in old age.
