KCR at Sahastra Maha Chandiyagam

Hyderabad, January 21: As we know that Honorable Chief Minister Planned to conduct a Chandhi Yagam for five days in Telangana, the Yagam was started today itself. The five-day-long Chaturvedi Paraspara Maharudra Sahasra Chandiyagam commenced amid the Vedic chants at the farmhouse of KCR at Erravelli village of Siddipet district.

Chandrasekhar Rao and his wife Shobha Rao conducted pujas overseen by the Visakha Sarada Peetham head pontiff Sri Sri Sri Swaroopananda Swamy and with the blessings of the Sringeri Peetadhipathi Jagadguru Bharati Teertha Swamy.

KCR with his wife started the Chandiyagam in which ‘Ganapathi Puja’, ‘Shuddi Punya Havachanam’. ‘Rithvic Varnam’, ‘Chaturveda Parayanam’. ‘Yagashala Pradakshinam’, ‘Gopuja’, ‘Gurupuja’, ‘Navagraha puja’ was performed.

Several members of Parliament, Legislative Assembly, Legislative Council, and other elected representatives attended the Yagam. The Yagam is to seek blessings of goddess Durga for the welfare of the people of Telangana. Because of this, there would not be any distress, untimely deaths and farmers will be blessed with abundant crops.
